This was my first purchase (as a birthday present for my husband), and all I can say about it, was that its amaing, it has a great weight, and its an awesome addition to our to collection of twenty+ weapons, it came with an edge and looks great on our wall. I purchased my sword from Bud K when it was first offered. Its quite heavy and sharp, I recived it today and I am very pleased! I picture a rat tail as being very narrow as on a metal file. The only con if noticed is the handle is crap. It is a little top heavy but you get used to holding it. Arrived today.
